[#87] *snort* And Lindsay Said...

...I hadn't been posting lately. I call bull. *laughs*

i. So they did end up coming home, albeit later than I would've liked. :\\\ I'm also pretty sure that as soon as they got home, my dad promptly started throwing up somewhere. I could only hear him from all the way in my room. :\\\\ This morning, my mom asked me if I wasn't worried - which really offended me. Her reasoning was that I should've called. My reasoning was that they were in a hospital and I had no idea where they may be at any given point throughout the day. :\\\\ Either ways, turns out everything's fine with my dad's CAT scan. Although, that was all my mom said.

Also, I finally found out why they were so late. They took the bus into the city. I bet my dad liked that. ~_~;; lolol. But um, yeah, makes sense that they did. XP

ii. Fic Pimp! Wasting Time Like Spending Money on Beer by [livejournal.com profile] grunhilda who remixed my fic! *________________* Oh man, more Shigepi, first of all. And just... a;slfjalskfjd LOVELOVELOVE. :DDD Also, [livejournal.com profile] cynicalism and I have been randomly exchanging drabbles involving NewS and a random College AU. *dies* It's really all my fault. I don't know why I bring this onto myself. Read hers: Twister and Questionable.

iii. Drabbles:
I don't know if I'll post these on korette, considering how random they are, but here it is for you guys to laugh at. XPPP (P.S. I don't know how college dorm life actually works. ~_~;; So whatever I end up writing is my own imagination or the fire alarm thing is something from my sisters... except, not entirely.)

Noise
Ryo, Koyama, Shige - 173 words

"Nishikido-kun, I've been getting complaints from Kato-kun next door that you've been making lots of loud noises," Koyama sighs at the door of one of his more problematic residents. He pushes his glasses further up his nose uncomfortably as Ryo sneers at him.

"Kato wouldn't know the first thing about those kinds of noises," Ryo snaps, half leaning against the doorway, arms crossed.

"You're so vulgar," Shige hisses from the open door just next to theirs. Both people at the doorway turn to see Shige looking at them with fury in his eyes through his glasses, arms crossed tightly against his chest.

Ryo snorts. "Yet I get laid, and oh look, you don't." His smirk turns wicked while Koyama turns pale.

"Nishikido-kun," he says in a half-warning tone although it'd probably be more believable if Koyama didn't look like he was about to break under Ryo's gaze.

"Oh fine. I'll try to tone it down," Ryo snorts. "But don't expect them to do the same. I can't help if they're verbal."

Shige sends him a withering glare.

Self-absorbed
Shige/Yamapi, with talk of Ryo (because he can never seem to not be there for me) - 330 words

"Yamashita-kun, the integral adds a power. It's the derivative that subtracts one," Shige says exasperated. The male in question is, however, not paying any attention to Shige, but staring off into the distance as he twirls his pencil in between his fingers. Shige stares for a couple of more minutes before barking out a "Yamashita-kun!"

Yamapi drops his pencil as he jumps up in his chair, rearing his startled gaze on Shige.

Shige slumps in his chair. "Yamashita-kun, you asked me to tutor you! What's the point when you're not even paying attention?"

Yamapi, at least, has the decency to look a little guilty before he pouts. "The noise next door is really getting to me."

"That's Nishikido-kun's fault," Shige bites out. "That's why I suggested we study at your dorm room."

At that moment, an appropriate moan filters through the walls; Shige's left eye twitches while Yamapi stares at the wall between the rooms in curiosity, like he can see what's going on.

"Jin's probably there with some girl," Yamapi says, sounding distracted as the noise in Ryo's room only gets louder.

Shige grumbles as he starts gathering his books together, elbowing Yamapi to get his attention to help him. "We'll just go to Koyama's room. I'm sure he wouldn't mind me hijacking it."

Yamapi only nods, taking whatever books Shige drops on his lap. "I thought Ryo-chan said he'd invite me over the next time he watched porn," Yamapi mumbles to himself, still staring at the wall.

Shige snorts. "If Nishikido-kun's only watching porn, I'd be damned. Because then, he has lots of luck for getting videos with his name in them."

Yamapi chuckles, meeting Shige's eyes as he stands up to follow the younger male out the room. "It sounds like just the kind of self-absorbed thing Ryo-chan would do."

Coincidentally, a loud female's voice calls out breathlessly, "Ryo~"

Both Yamapi and Shige book it out of the room, Shige grumbling that he shouldn't take this crap anymore - why is he always the unfortunate one?

Fire Alarms
Ryo/Shige - 376 words

Shige hated fire alarms with a passion. He didn't used to have such a large hatred. They were good, life-saving tools that would tell you when a fire may be starting. They probably saved many a life that way.

However, Shige thinks as he stands outside uncomfortably in only a towel, still dripping wet, fire alarms were down-right annoying when they pulled him out of showers.

Shige can feel a couple of stares from the people around him, especially since his towel isn't exactly the largest thing he owned (he'd been in a rush). His cheeks starts to redden and he shifts the towel to cover as much as it can (which, sadly, wasn't much more than before).

There's a bit of a whistle before he can hear Ryo's annoyingly familiar voice call out to him. "I guess you're not as much of a prude as I thought you were, Kato," Ryo jokes before he slings an arm around Shige's shoulders.

Shige tenses up, almost flinching at Ryo's unnatural closeness. "Shut up, Nishikido," he grits out. "I had no choice."

Ryo laughs and it feels more friendly than his usual snark. "Calm down, Kato. I'm only joking. I'm not all bite," he says, with an ironic smirk on his lips.

"I'll believe that when I see it," Shige grumbles beneath his breath.

Ryo's laugh only gets louder. "Maybe you're more interesting than I figured."

"Does that mean you'll stop bothering me with all your noise?" Shige asks, a little hopeful.

"Out of my control," Ryo smirks, his eyes meeting Shige's. "Not my fault that I'm insatiable," he says, practically leering.

Shige rolls his eyes, turning away just as people were starting to let them inside. "With modesty to boot."

Ryo cackles, his arm slowly lifting off of Shige's shoulders as they move forward. "As long as you know it." Shige thinks that maybe, just maybe, they can have a nice rapport after this, but seconds later, Ryo's hand tugs at Shige's towel and before Shige can register what's going on, he yanks it.

It takes Shige a split second before he curses and runs inside, Ryo's laughter echoing behind him.

Shige takes it back, Ryo's still an asshole. And fire alarms are the bane of his existence.

It's too bad he still has to live with both.

We, or rather I, have decided that this entire world should be called the Trials and Tribulations of Kato Shigeaki in College Dorms. Because apparently, they do not go well together. *laughs*

iv. This is a separate point, mainly because these next few drabbles are really separate from the last ones. And so not because I wanted to make this five points as always. XP I was trying to do the music meme and writing under 4 minutes, but I never got the chance to FINISH. So I kept restarting and restarting. And blahblahblah. I don't know what to do with these anymore. So here.

Le Ciel - KAT-TUN
KoyaShige - 176 words

He kissed him suddenly - it was a surprising move, especially since Koyama hadn't seen it coming in the least. Shige'd suddenly leaned over, hands gripping at Koyama's shoulders - Koyama'd thought it was only because he was going to hug Koyama for his kind words since Koyama'd just comforted him after he'd had a mini-breakdown.

Shige always did need words reassuring him that he could do what he did. He was a strong person despite what he thought. And even if he wasn't, Koyama'd be by his side, pushing him forward as best he could. Koyama'd be strong for him.

But never in his wildest dreams did Koyama think Shige'd kiss him.

Koyama's mouth had dropped open, and his eyes had gone wide. Shige looked half embarrassed, half terrified, but his hands were still gripping at Koyama's shoulders.

"I-I'm sorry," Shige mumbled and slowly, his grip loosened before Koyama grabbed one of Shige's hands and smiled.

He could be strong for both of them, Koyama thought before he leaned forward, lips brushing against lips.

Kibou no Hikari wo Kokoro ni Tomos - Tegomass
Tegomass (duh) - 206 words
(This one and the last one sound strikingly alike. ~_~;; I fail.)

He kissed him suddenly. When Tegoshi had pulled back, Massu hadn't expected the look of fear in Tegoshi's face - it was something that Massu hadn't seen since way back when. When Tegoshi had been green to the business and had no idea what he was supposed to do. That was a time when Massu had felt strong, strong because he was able to help someone in their time of need.

And that strength had lasted for years as the two were thrown through group dynamics; Tegoshi's fear of being forgotten started to wear thin, because he was being accepted. Accepted by the entire group, not just Massu.

Until the suspension and the fear came back - not just for Tegoshi, but for Massu too. Nobody knew what would come next, nobody knew what they were going to do with NewS.

Then Tegomass came along and it was like a breath of fresh air again. It was new. It was the two of them together and they could spend the time together, not fearing anymore.

Massu smiled brightly, accepting, and just that set off Tegoshi's smile.

It was how they were meant to be in the end - together and strong. Never any fear.

The next few were an attempt at Tegopin. I failed there too. :\\\\
Akai Hana - NewS
191 words

It's not like he likes desiring someone that he knows he can't get. He doesn't. But Tegoshi can't help it - he wishes it was a switch that could easily be turned off, but things don't go that easily. Admiration isn't that easy. Adoration isn't that easy. Love isn't that easy. And he knows it.

Something about Yamapi makes him yearn like he's never yearned before. It gets worse because Yamapi is utterly oblivious to it all. Like he could never think that someone so close to him could want him in the way Tegoshi does.

The problem is that Tegoshi knows that he's not the first. It's not like Yamapi's not desired by other people. Tegoshi's seen the looks Akanishi has thrown in Yamapi's direction - they look too similar to his own. Tegoshi hates mirrors as it is and seeing the expression he throws at Yamapi on someone else's face makes him want to tell Akanishi to stop - tell him that it's not something he should be doing. But he doesn't.

"Yamashita-kun! Dinner tonight?" Tegoshi asks happily.

Yamapi grins, nodding. "Sure!"

It's as far as Tegoshi can go.

Dark Congregation - The Hush Sound
161 words

Jin thinks that there's something awkward about this situation - Tegoshi shouldn't be looking at Yamapi like he's about to jump him if he could. Tegoshi shouldn't be the one hanging by Yamapi's side - bubbly attitude, completely fawning over the one he's admired for these years.

Jin thinks he should be by Yamapi's side, the only one who can look at Yamapi that way. After all, Jin's been there for years.

But it's strange. The want bubbling inside his chest that he's only recently realized. Except, when Tegoshi throws looks in his direction, Jin thinks that maybe it's been there for much longer. He's only just noticed it now.

The strangest thing about the looks is that they're a mixture of dislike and understanding. Two emotions that Jin doesn't think match. Emotions that Jin thinks look twisted on the younger boy's face.

Something about it makes him intrigued - Tegoshi isn't different from him in the least.

Lovin' U - KAT-TUN
213 words

Yamapi doesn't not realize anything. He's not as oblivious as they think him to be. It's kinda startling sometimes when he realizes how they're looking at him. But he likes it. It makes him feel wanted, and sometimes he can't remember just how that feels. He likes the idea that people are okay with him. Okay with what he's like.

They know him. And between his best friend and the kid that's admired him for a number of years... Yamapi thinks he's felt wanted for more than he has felt before.

It's just sometimes, he wishes they wouldn't fight with each other for him. He doesn't like people he cares about feuding with each other. It's not obvious, not really. Nothing is obvious when it comes to the one who went to America suddenly, or the one who had a complete transformation in the span of a year.

He simultaneously likes the complication and hates it.

Yamapi doesn't like that which confuses him. But there's a journey in finding the truth, and he thinks that's the part he likes the most.

They go to dinner together as a trio - Yamapi thinks that's how it should be.

Shoulds don't exactly equal reality though, and Yamapi knows that from experience.

Crazy Love - KAT-TUN
191 words

"You're out of your league," Jin tells Tegoshi when they're finally alone - Yamapi having gone to the bathroom. It's a nonchalant comment - like this entire thing is normal. The word's over-rated, Tegoshi thinks.

Tegoshi only smiles cutely, tilting his head to the side. "I'm not sure what you mean, Akanishi-kun."

Tegoshi thinks he hit something inside of Jin by how quickly the expression on Jin's face changes. "You're not seriously going down that route, are you?" Jin hisses, leaning forward.

"I don't know what that means either, Akanishi-kun. You should stop talking in riddles." There's something hard about the look on Tegoshi's face. He can change expressions just as easily as Jin can - they really do have a lot more in common than they think.

"I'm not going to let you hurt Pi," Jin says simply, but his eyes say something a lot more meaningful in his eyes.

Tegoshi smiles sardonically - looking partially pained to even pull this look out. "I think you should be saying that to yourself."

Yamapi appears the next second with a smile. "What'd I miss?" They both give him fake smiles.

Um, yeah. I don't really quite know. *dies*
