Today's Laughter.
Oct. 30th, 2006 11:34 amToday was a whole lot of fun.
Sure, it was a school day. And sure, it's a MONDAY (that's of bigger importance). But it was just GREAT.
Well, in particular about 2 hours in which I spent LAUGHING my ass off.
It wasn't really anything in particular, but just the little things.
Such as a story about how my friend, Cathy, never seems to realize that she's tearing things to pieces. Napkins, plastic cup covers (like the ones on soda cups when you're at a fast food place), or like in her story, a black plastic bag. "Where's the handle?" Hehe.
Then reminiscing about our first crushes. Mine being some kid in kindergarten or first grade being named Gus (which was apparently some big problem in the name according to Cathy, even though we could only come up with one example in which the name Gus was used. (Cinderella, in case anyone was curious. "Gus-Gus!")) And hers being Luis... Something or other.
Then onto neighbors in our buildings and potentional/previous crushes. As well as lots and lots of ranting of stupid people in said buildings.
And a conversation taking place just as we were leaving McDonalds in which we ran into this couple. The girl had the EXACT jacket as I did. Which led to Cathy comparing her to me. "She's Asian. And she's wearing a BAG?! OMG! Does that mean I'm HIM?! That short puny guy with GLASSES?! I'M OFFENDED!"
And me, LAUGHING my ass off, and not being able to interject with saying that she had come up with the entire thing. And her begin offended had had to be the strangest thing in the world and nonsensical. But was totally not able to.
And lastly a conversation about this feature on her cell phone in which she could command it to call so-and-so. And then it'd "say" the name back of whoever she said. And she just blew a GUT when it tried to say the name "Kashfi." (A friend of ours.)
So yes. Amusing day filled with laughter. And again, by DAY, I mean those hours.
Now. To stop procrastinating and actually working on my paper. (Which will never get written by itself, now will it. Unfortunately.)
