I was gonna post later, but then I finally read this and thought, God, this is an awesome idea.

So for that: More Joy Day.
In the interest of spreading more joy, I’m proposing that a week from today, Thursday, January 10th, we each engage in one act, either here on or outside of LJ, which brings joy to another person, in the hopes that that person will spread that joy further, and exponentially onward.

I just wanted to spread the word for now - I wanna provide something that'll make you guys happy. :D
Of course, I don't have much but :D

- Pimping: Akanishi Jin Pimp by [livejournal.com profile] swtjemz and [livejournal.com profile] jackoweskla *_____________________* Hi smexy.
- I was originally gonna post the one hour challenge here - but I had actually finished it (even though it's really all messy and whatnot) but it's over here. The links to the rest of the fics are there too! :D You guys should read them all, they were fantastic~ <3

Okay! I'm in the middle of watching another movie, so I'll be posting later (along with my thoughts on this movie because it's FABULOUS). :D

The Battery is the latest Japanese movie that I'm watching. And I know I've been name-dropping a whole lot of different movies recently, and while I recommend things like Hakase no Aishita Sushiki or The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and stuff... But this one. OH GOD, this one. First of all, the summary that is over at [livejournal.com profile] ourhour is this:

Junior high student Harada Takumi (Hayashi Kento) is a pitching prodigy, but his attitude and arrogance alienates him from schoolmates and even his own family. His father (Kishitani Goro) is completely uninterested in baseball, and his mother (Amami Yuki) spends most of her energy fussing over his ill younger brother (Yarita Akihiro). Takumi finally finds a friend and partner in classmate Nagakura Go (Yamada Kenta), a catcher who greatly admires Takumi's pitching. Together they form a "battery" and join the school baseball team, but the friends have a falling out after a loss, bringing the team to a standstill. At this time, Takumi's brother becomes seriously ill, and his only hope is for Takumi to win the big game for him.

My Thoughts on it. ...That somehow spanned over 1000 words aka tl;dr. >.> )

If you just skipped mine and just wanna watched based on the summary before the cut, the file can be downloaded over here. :D I seriously recommend this. I fell in love with the movie and Takumi was just so amazing as the main character. <3333

On another note, I also watched Sono Toki wa Kare ni Yoroshiku with Nagasawa Masami (God, she's everywhere) and Yamada Takayuki (and the guy who played Mikki in My Boss My Hero was there too - although it was a very short role, same with Keiko Kitagawa) and it was GOOD. I'm not as adamant on this one as I am The Battery, but it WAS really good. The ending completely blew me away, the speech was just utterly awesome (I really need a better vocabulary) and completely threw me for a loop. It was AWESOME though and I really loved both Masami and Takayuki here. :D I'd rec this too - although the pace was a little slower than I'd like, but I understood all the build up. There was a bit of time jumping from past and present, but it's easy to tell considering it's them as adults and then them as kids. *laughs* The kid who played Masami's character was absolutely fantastic. :D

Ahaha, have I been talking about movies a lot lately? LOL. I feel like I have. XPPPP Unfortunately for you guys, I still have one more movie in my hard-drive and about 8 more tabs of movies that I wanna download. Ahaha, so I won't be shutting up anytime soon. I'm off to go watch more movies! And today, I finally remembered how much I loved to cross-stitch and still have some projects I haven't finished. LOL. So I'll be watching AND cross-stitching! I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier... My hands get antsy when I'm not doing anything with them. *laughs*
