[#29] Today was just...
Jan. 19th, 2008 02:22 amSO BLOODY AWESOME. *___________________* It was one of the funniest days I've had in a long time. And it wasn't anything extravagant or anything like that. Just a group of four friends hanging out and having actual fun. *grins*
First of all,
i. I GOT ROSES. *_____________________* TWO DOZEN LIGHT PEACH ROSES. My friends remembered me complaining about the fail Christmas I had (before my parents got me the IPod - I'd gotten no Christmas gifts whatsoever... >.>). Anyway, my friend remembered how jealous I was that we got our (male) friend red roses for his birthday, and she knew I adored roses. So... They gave them to me today! I WAS SO HAPPY. I THINK I COULDN'T STOP GRINNING SILLYILY FOR ABOUT TEN GOOD MINUTES. *__________________*
ii. Nnngh. They fulfilled another of my food cravings today. ♥ Every time we go somewhere to eat, it's always someplace that I've been thinking of. And somehow, Cathy always happens to know just what I'm craving when we're planning the day.
Last Tuesday: (Talking about plans for today)
Me: Oh! You know where we should go?!
Eri: Where?
Me: Cal-
Cathy: California Pizza Kitchen, right?
Me: *gape* Ho...w did you know that?
Cathy: You've been talking about it for the past two weeks.
*snickers* Anyway... WE ENDED UP GOING TO CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN. Ever since I was a kid (maybe 10), I have loved that place for one sole reason - their Original BBQ Chicken. I will never, ever get anything else because it is just one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. So I will never miss a chance to eat it. as;ldkfjalskdfj SERIOUSLY. I am stuffed silly (still - we had a lot to eat or in my case, drink) but am salivating at the thought of eating again. It's a whole pie. Not the thickest crust, which is good because that means I can eat more. *_________________* (Or rather, it means I can eat it all.) And seriously, a whole pie. Not the biggest pie, but a little bigger than a regular sized plate, ne? a;lsdkfjaslkdfj I ate the entire thing. Plus the crust. And I don't eat crust, guys. I usually hate it - but I ate these. *___________* Plus, plus I had some bread and butter before. And I finished first. I am seriously proud of my stomach~ ♥ And oh oh. We got Jay (the only male) an ice cream cake for his birthday. ...Belated, but whatever. :D It wasn't the biggest thing, but we polished it off in the restaurant. NNNGH. SO GOOD. I love ice cream cake. (Also, irony of ironies. Three girls, one guy - guess who doesn't end up finishing their pizza. ...The guy. :D)
( For length. More on the restaurant. We watched a movie - 27 Dresses. SO AWESOME - QUOTES so will be spoilery. (Plus my review on Heavenly Forest while I'm at it) and our time in Toys R Us! :D )
ix. Next Monday is the start of Restaurant week in New York! ♥ In other words, some of the fancier restaurants have these specific menus where lunch will only be $25 and dinner will only be $35 and you can choose an appetizer, a meal, and a dessert. *GRINS* Last summer, my friends and I went to Tavern on the Greens. This time, we're trying to see if we can go to the Boat House in Central Park. ;LAKJSDFLAKSDFJ I'M SO EXCITED. It's a debate on whether we'll dress-up or not. >.> Next Monday is supposed to be down to 29 or so degrees. And that's the high. I dunno if I really want to wear a dress then. So I'm debating wearing this long skirt that I have... Except it has slits on the side that go up to mid thigh. Err... At least it's not a dress? *dies*
x. NNGH. LAST WEEKEND OF FREEDOM. T.T My grandmother comes back from the Philippines next Tuesday. a;lskdjfalskjdf oh man. We're I'm gonna have to clean this weekend. T.T My sister's going into the city so I'm the only one left. *DIES* ;alksdjflaskjdf And I can't do it Monday. Damn luck. >.> ...On the other hand, I hope she brings back awesome snacks. *_____________* I kinda can't wait just for that... I'm so lame.
