tinyangl: (arashi - whole)
I woke up earlier than I should have (Yes, I was supposed to wake up early this morning to head into the city). Anyway, I still have a bit until I have to leave or even start getting ready, so I decided to watch the Mago Mago Arashi that I downloaded just yesterday, and man, it was so uber touching. Seriously. For those who don't know, Mago Mago Arashi is the show where two of the members of Arashi go and act as grandkids for the day for these grandparents. And in this one, Ohno and MatsuJun were paired to be grandparents for these two who man a hut at the beach for 40 years and lol, at first it was really amusing because MatsuJun kept trying to get out and go to the beach even though he was supposed to be working like Ohno was - lol, at one point he even escapes and gets to go to the beach for a while.

And while that's the usual amount of silly that I expect from Mago Mago Arashi, they turned suddenly really meaningful after Ohno and MatsuJun learnt that the grandparents they were working for never had a proper wedding ceremony due to circumstances in their life. And for the last half of the episode (It's only 23 minutes long), they try to make a kinda small, but not any less meaningful, wedding ceremony for the two. And it's a surprise for them too - Ohno makes the bouquet of flowers, MatsuJun makes the cake. And right when they're supposed to part, MatsuJun and Ohno surprise them with it. The grandmother could not stop crying. I swear, I was like.a s;ldkfjaklsjdirajs;ldkjf the entire time over here too. It was just that touching. T.T Seriously loved it.

And cannot neglect to mention that during that ceremony scene, a song started playing and about a minute in, I was like... WTF, this sounds so familiar! Why? ...It was Yamapi's No. 1 love song - Manatsu no Kajitsu. as;dlfkjaskldfjl Totally apt, okay? Just so apt. When I realized what song it was, my heart kinda froze and I got touched all over again. a;sldkfjalksdfj That song. (First thought: Please tell me I put this in my I-Pod already. Answer: Yes, it was already there. :D)

Then at the end, lol, Arashi come together as always to talk, or to do something silly - like they did in this episode, and they played a game "who in Arashi can cry first?" essentially was it.
The winner? World famous Nino. (Their words, not mine.) Managing to make a tear in a minute and a half.

So yes. Totally, totally recommending this episode. ♥♥ (Download it over here SUBBED!!)

And look at that, about time for me to start getting ready.
