[#062] So Who Wants to Sing In Order To Meet Utada Hikaru?

I sure as hell do. XD

i. So on Tokyograph, it was announced that oh lookie here, Utada [Hikaru] is having a karaoke contest on Myspace. Apparently if you win, you get to have a karaoke session with Utada (and three of your friends) in Japan. Expenses paid for plane ride and hotel. Holy shit, what is this. *________* Plus, we all know she's originally a New Yorker so LANGUAGE BARRIER = NONEXISTENT. In other words, ohmygod, I totally want to do it. What's the worst that can happen, really? (Also, obviously you need to have a myspace account which I coincidentally have because of my creative writing class last semester where it was pretty much required for some godawful reason. But hell, anyone can make a myspace account.)
So go out and sing people! Maybe one of us will win? XD (Also, you need to have a play count of over 100 to be eligible. So the sooner you do it, the better.

ii. Since I have absolutely no idea what's been going on in my own life... *consults twitter* Finally watched the first episodes of two dramas this season. (Wow, I'm so behind.) The Quiz Show 2 and Godhand Teru. While Godhand Teru is barely worth my time (I seriously loled my way through most of the first episode except at one point where I went EWWWWW. If you've seen it, you know which part), but The Quiz Show 2? *__________________________* My excitement level cannot be contained, honestly. Sho and Yoko do such a fabulous job. Especially Sho. The change from emo!Kamiyama stuck in that padded room to the MC!Kamiyama? *_______* Honestly surprised he could pull it off, but fuck that. Sho rocks. Yoko too is awesome with the supposed evil role and I'm waiting to see what the hell their relationship is. Oh, and because it's a shame not to mention her. MAYA MIKI!!!! *__________* That scene with her and Yoko made me go all flaily. (I have Smile, Atashinchi no Danshi and maybe I'll check out Hancho. Maybe. I have so no time. ...Kinda.

iii. Wow, my life is so boring. I barely have any RL to talk about. I guess other fandom vids:
- Himitsu no Arashi-chan Optical Illusion SP [subbed]. Absolutely hysterical. Plus at the end, they have this quiz and I totally aced it without cheating. (Well, except for one, but I was like Aiba and found the difference on the "second" round.) So funny. Kaname kept saying that the guy's trick was that he just cut the video and everyone was like, you REALLY like that cutting idea. XD He was wrong pretty much every time.
- Ousama no Brunch - Himitsu no Arashi-chan SP promotion [raw] with translation. Worth the watch if only for the last ranking. Why does Nino seat Aiba all the way to the other end? :D You should watch and find out. (This will probably be subbed sooner than later because, hi, it's Arashi. ~_~;;)
- Toma on Domoto Kyoudai [raw]. So awesome. omg. If only for the part where Toma completely pwns Kinki Kids when he ends up dancing a song from WAY BACK WHEN and still remembers the furitsuke. He is made of A+ material. Plus his performance was all sorts of awesome.
- NewS' MC in the Koi no ABO DVD [subbed]. So fucking funny. I LOVELOVELOVE that Yamapi did the "Nobuta power" move. Just so much love, guys. There's so much funny interactions here and I love how Tegoshi completely made fun of Koyama's "V, V" in Nurse Aoi. And lol to Massu's incomprehensibility. I would've been more surprised if they DID understand him.
- And this is my own cut/upload. Aiba vs Pan-kun in the last two episodes of Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen [Raw]. Part 1 (MF) and Part 2. I feel like I've been saying repeatedly that things are funny, but you know what. This is really really good. It's basically like a ...I want to say exercise, but not really? It's those body test or whatever--you know, push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups, how flexible you are, ...rhythm. The last one is the funniest because 1) Aiba ends up having to dance to A.RA.SHI and 2) PAN-KUN ENDS UP DANCING TO A.RA.SHI. I loled so hard. (On a side note, I've been watching way too many Shimura Doubutsuen episodes. ...And am searching to watch as many as I can at some point. *lame*) (2nd MF isn't going up so I'll try again later for those who may want it. XD)

P.S. I may or may not have applied for TimeLesSub. *_____________* Of any of the drama subbing groups I would've joined, they're my favorite. Here's to hoping for a good experience. The second group I tend to like is Querbeet. lol Don't ask me why I have subbing groups ranked in my head.
P.P.S. Oh shit, I forgot. Speaking of subbing groups, I also joined the one ourhour was making for jmovies. Granted, I won't have much to do since for the most part, they seem to be using Japanese subs' timings, but still. A+.
P.P.P.S. Check out thereadinghabit! It's a fanfic rec comm that I'm helping out in. It's just getting started, but do watch it! Maybe we'll rec something that you haven't read yet and should. Like now. lol. :D (I'll probably be spamming the comm over the summer when, oh hay, I have more time. lol Speaking of, I gots me some homework to do. ...Yay.)
