[#060] So Second February in a Row...

...Where I stand outside in the cold waiting for a Japanese pop star. lol Last year was Sho at Comicon (omg, can't believe that was last year), this year was UTADA!!!!!

Utada Hikaru. I have been her fan since high school. Or maybe even before that, I can't really remember. So just being in her presence, In The Flesh as it were, I was just ecstatic. I had a bit of a eh start to it though. Despite the fact that I had stood in line since noon, some things happened (coat check, C getting sick 20 mins into the stupid DJ before Utada) and I ended up at the very back. Like so far back that I was behind the two huge cameras that were filming Utada. But I wasn't about to abandon C even though she insisted I stay in our spot--mind you, I was surrounded by a wall of tall guys. So tall in fact that even on my tippy-toes I couldn't see past their SHOULDERS. It was that ridiculous. Anyway, so I ended up in the far back, but you know what? After the first three or four songs, the two people that were obstructing our view the most--lovingly nicknamed bopping boy and hat guy--shifted to the left and gave me the GREATEST view of Utada. Okay, not the greatest but as great as it was going to get. *_________* I was just ecstatic to see her, to listen to her sing, and to laugh at all her MCing. It was just mindblowing. lol and after a while, bopping boy was so shifted to the left that I didn't hate him so much anymore and was kind of amused by how into the music he was getting. Like seriously, he was rocking it out to every song. As was I. ohmygod, I was singing along, getting totally emotional especially during First Love and Automatic and Can You Keep A Secret. And just... being there with Utada Hikaru singing and laughing and joking around with the audience. I loved every second of it. ♥♥

And another plus for that day, finally made motions to get my passport! So end of March, getting that passport!!! JAPAN IS GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER. :DDD

In other news, am at work during one of the not so good snow storms. lol I don't mind so much since I'm indoors, but I'm sure going home is going to be a bit of a bitch. XD Here's to hoping things work out okay. XDDDDDD
