tinyangl: (confession - posting to look busy)
i. I meant to post this yesterday but I got preoccupied with other things. XD That said, I hope everyone had a good New Year's eve and day! :D I myself had quite a busy New Year's day. T.T
All about my 'adventures' with friends, family obligations and picking up PD. )

ii. So, during those two days, I had a bit of downtime and no laptop to speak of, so you KNOW I broke out my Kindle. Guys, I managed to read two full books (Catching Fire and Mockingjay, the second and third books respectively of The Hunger Games trilogy) and get halfway through another. It's been SO LONG since I've finished a book and I'm so gleeful that I got the Kindle because i absolutely adore it. *_______________* The Hunger Games trilogy, btw, is pretty damn good, albeit really twisted--the world Collins makes anyway. I enjoyed it a LOT though, especially the way Collins is able to put in a little humor with all the SERIOUS. Also, Collins writes some pretty damn awesome characters--CINNA! ♥ Peeta, Haymitch and Katniss to a lower extent. She's cool (and the main character) but I found myself adoring a lot of the other characters. XDDDD

iii. And lastly, because I WILL finish this meme eventually. XD
Day One: Write ten lines of dialogue between two characters who had drunken sex last night and are not talking about it. Ever.
Day Two: Write a scene in four sentences in which two characters bond over something that would seem trivial to a passerby.
Day Three: Write seven sentences from the perspective of a passerby witnessing Day Two's scene.
Day Four: Write a character's reaction to someone's love confession in one sentence.
Day Five: Write a scene in eight sentences in which someone's going through his/her version of "It's a Wonderful Life."
Day Six: Write a scene in six sentences in which a character is searching for someone in the last moments of the end of the world.
Day Seven: Write a breakup scene in three sentences without giving the reason for it or using dialogue.
Day Eight: Write two characters' second kiss in two sentences.
Day Nine: Ask flist for prompts. Write one sentence each for the first five prompts you receive.
Day Ten: Use these lyrics as a prompt: "There's only now/There's only here/Give in to love/Or live in fear" ("Another Day" from RENT) and write a story in nine sentences.
(Super Bonus Challenge: Use a different pairing/character each day.)

NCIS. Tony/Ziva. )

Day 9 involves flist prompts so feel free to leave those here! I'll get to those as soon as I post next. :D (Actually I'm leaning towards doing JE-het sentences for that day so if you have those, I'd be very happy! :D)

P.S. I will eventually be doing that end of year meme. I am just uber lazy right now and have dramas to watch (YAY, TRICK! :DDD)
P.P.S. Speaking of dramas, OMG IDK HOW I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS EARLIER, but I now have a nice nifty list over at mydramalis. It has ratings and if you click on watchlog, you can read a few short reviews (I haven't gotten very far just yet). This is TOTALLY going to replace the drama rec post I was never going to make. :DDDDDDDDDDDD So check out the site AND OMG, BE MY FRIEND. :DDDDDD I'd love to see what you guys are watching too~
P.P.P.S. oh man, the scrapbook is done! Well, almost. I think the only section that needs updating is the fic rec section, but otherwise, the headache and constant updating is DONE. :DDD So happy. That said, I'm totally going to at least keep up the fic reccing section on [livejournal.com profile] kakimakuru so look out for that!
