Yamapi's Big Mouth Makes Me Happy~
Nov. 24th, 2007 02:48 pmSo anyone remember one of my wishes?
9. More Jin/Yamapi hanging out hints as well as NewS hanging out hints
I like how a few days later, Yamapi and Jin seem to hang out like nobody's business. :DDDDDDD So flipping awesome! Here, Here and Here. I'm so sure their relationship is only friends. Totally believable. :DDD I wonder what their haircut looks like now? :D And then in the last one, from Jin to Ryo~ So awesome. :D
Also, we found out why NewS was in Hawaii. Russ-K is totally awesome. *_________________________* I can't wait for this one. :DDDD And this time, it was Koyama who blabbed. Oh Koyama~ I love your big mouth too. *grins* (Am I getting more and more pervy? *laughs*)
Yukan Club Ep. 6: *GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* Koyama. KOYAMA! Oh god!! I was all squealy whenever he was on the screen! :DDD Totally exciting. Plus PLUS, Bidou made me laugh really hard throughout this entire thing. Like when Miroku accidentally smacked him on the head. *LAUGHS SO HARD* Adn this just further established my Seishirou/Noriko fangirly side. :DDDD Totally awesome. I'd squeak more but I'm a little more than braindead so.... No chance of it happening. *laughs*
So yesterday, my friends and I got together to spend Thanksgiving together. Every year (for the past 3) we've gotten together and spent Thanksgiving together. Usually though, we crash this one friend's apartment - same friend for the past 3 years - cook our own Thanksgiving meal (it usually has a lot of different things like Chicken one year, Chicken pot pie another, Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni and Cheese, Biscuits, and the like). Yes, we essentially cook it ourselves and eat. It usually turns out really well! ^_^ Unfortunately, the friend whose place we usually commendeer went away to Germany for the year so this time, we couldn't find a place to stay. Actually, they first wanted to come to my place, but it's so out of the way and my dad was working Friday night which meant he'd be taking the car with him. And the amount it takes to have a cab drive from my house to the bus stop and from my bus stop into the city is the same amount. So what a frigging waste. So in the end, we just thought we'd spend the day in the city.
At first it was supposed to be more than the three that ended up spending the day, but everyone cancelled, another friend had to go to Jersey with her family. Another said...she didn't want to be around people and the last was working. So, in the end, it was like a regular hanging out session between me, Cathy and Jay. But whatever, we had loads of fun and that's all that matters. :D It was a well packed day, considering I met Cathy early in the morning (at near 9) because she had apparently been up since 5 in the morning for Black Friday. So first, I had to run some errands, buy some cards, prep for a package to be sent out. And then I went to Chase bank, and I finally got myself a Savings Account. @.@ I'm a little terrified because I've never had to deal with this kind of stuff (I've totally always let my mom handle it) and now I feel like I'm really becoming an adult and it sucks. I wanna stay a kid, thanks. But it was okay, the banker that I was assigned to was really fun, kinda young so easy to deal with. ^_^
After that, we went to McDonalds for breakfast and called Jay to see what time we could meet (even though we had planned 12). Cathy wanted to catch a movie because of matinee and then we'd only pay 6 bucks for tickets. Unfortunately, we'd kinda just woken Jay up so he was a little startled but he insisted he could be there by 11. So we felt bad, so on our way to the train station, we happened to stumble past some flower store and we saw these gorgeous roses and were like, "WE SHOULD GET JAY FLOWERS!!!" And... we did. *laughs* Did I mention that we were also kinda spending Jay's birthday since it was a week ago and well....

Damn. I forgot to take off the flash. But yeah, isn't that the most dorkiest thing ever? (A lady on the train actually asked him about it and we were like... it's a long story. LOLOL.) We even got him a card that was like "how to ward of Bigfoot" which was totally the kind of thing he'd like. ...Unfortunately, he lost the thing and that was just way too sad. T.T But it's the thought that counts, I guess. So we met up early so we could go to the movies. We ended up watching Enchanted which guys? I have to pimp because it was seriously awesome. It's like old time Disney back again and the songs were so much fun. I really liked it. I mean, towards the end, it got really cliche, but that's to be expected. It's still Disney. *laughs* After watching it, we couldn't get the damn theme out of our heads. But seriously, guys? It was awesome. I'd recommend it to anyone. There was this one point that was totally supposed to be endearing and it was... after you got over the gross factor. *laughs* But we'll ignore that, I suppose.
After that, we went down to this Japanese cafe place down in Soho called Hiroko's Place that I had found because of Google and found out that they had Omurice. Dude, you do not know how excited I was. Unfortunately, the fact that she'd been awake for a LONG amount of time was catching up with her and Cathy got really exhausted at this point and kinda grouchy. So that was unfortunate. The whole cafe was pretty small. Kinda cozy and I remember reading reviews that the service was slow, but I didn't think it was slow at all. At first we sat at the bar because there weren't any seats, but then a table emptied and we were able to move.

This is the Omurice I've been craving for months.
It wasn't as AMAZINGLY delicious as I'd wanted/expected/hoped. It was just... normal. There wasn't anything extravagent about it. But it was delicious, I'll give them that. I got that plus Sprite, Jay got a Tofu salad and tea and Cathy got coffee which was 1) apparently really bitter, 2) the cups were weird, and 3) who uses silver spoons to stir when it's bound to get hot? So we didn't stay there after we ate. And we ended up just walking, because we had to burn off our food for dinner, whenever that'd be. So we ended up wandering downtown Manhattan for a while there and immediately, we kinda perked up. (The cold probably helped.) Cathy told this story about crazy cab driver from Hell which was totally amusing. Then as we were walking, her sister called and we had to go from 4 street up to 34th to meet her sister in Manhattan Mall because her sister was still shopping and there had apparently been some coat that she found that she wanted Cathy to buy. Or...something like that. In the end, Cathy didn't buy the jacket and this time, my mom called. Because she wanted a gofer to carry her bags. I told her I was still with my friends and she was all, Okay! Call me when you're done. ~_~;; But that's for later.
So after we left Manhattan mall, we went to the Gap where I bought these nice blue fleece gloves which I instantly put to use because God, it was freezing. So to waste time, we went over to Bryant park to see the stands and make fun of the ice skaters - because we're mean like that. XPPPP We ended up talking about past times we went ice skating and I'm pretty sure Cathy scared Jay into never skating again. LOL. Go figure. (We actually walked from 34th to 42th, but thankfully, it wasn't too bad a walk.) By this point, Cathy had gotten hungry, we had gotten cold so we went over to 59th where we planned to eat dinner. At first, we were searching all OVER the place for a frigging Carvel's because me and Cathy had wanted to get Jay an ice cream cake like he wanted. But we couldn't find either store. Which was really sad. T.T We even had googled the locations the night before, but apparently Google FAILS us. T.T But here, some fun things~

We randomly found this tree as we were walking, isn't it gorgeous? Those two figures near the bottom? Cathy and Jay. LOL. I took it after they'd taken a "posing" picture because I wanted the whole tree. It was really random.
So on the way to... someplace, I can't remember where, but we were walking and Jay had made another crack about statues in stores. (We'd run into a lot of weird statues) And in this store, it looked like an ancient Greek kind of one. You know, the warrior who's nude except for like, a helmet and a spear. And at first, I'd just glanced at it, and was like oh. Then I did a double take and was like, ohhhh, you can see his thing. And then Jay was all, "Huh?" And Cathy and I were coming up with ways to say it without saying it and Jay came up with this gem, "I'd call it something like 'Messenger of the Gods'." Cathy and I burst out laughing and Cathy was like, "Messenger of the Gods? That's a new one." And lots of jokes at his expense.
Then we were still talking about this as we passed another store, there was a television on the window and they were playing this video of people with pogo sticks. But mind you, our heads were still in the gutter (as always) and Jay randomly blurted out, "Pogo Sticks!" Me and Cathy paused and then burst out laughing (again) and Cathy's like, "That's a new innuendo for sex." And then she dropped her voice, "Would you like to ...pogo stick with me?" Jay looked HORRIFIED and of course we couldn't let it go. "So would it be called pogo-sticking?" "Would you like to see my pogo stick?" Then Jay finally gave in and went, "It should be - Would you like to play with my pogo stick?" I was in tears of laughter, guys. TEARS. And I was like "Even if you don't say pogo stick that still sounds pervy - 'Would you like to play with my...' And all you'd have to do is like wink suggestively or something." OH man.
Then Jay just had to explain the "Messenger of the Gods" thing. ...I can't recall why though. But he was like, I was thinking Greek mythology and how he was thinking of Mercury when he said that. And even though this was TOTALLY a blow at his masculinity, I just couldn't resist and was like, "eh? But that makes no - Wait! Does that mean you're fast?" And Jay was uber horrified (and I had a fleeting feeling of guilt) before he pointed at me and went, "BAD DESI!!! BAD!!!" And from that point on, I just really couldn't stop laughing. I didn't even mean to think of that. XPPPP
So we went to dinner. Originally we were going to go to this Italian restaurant but then it was crowded, and we were really exhausted at this point and really didn't want to wait. So we went to Johnny's Rockets, which we finally pried out of Jay because he's as indecisive as we are, but worse. But it was a good choice! Lots of good food, and there's a jukebox and we get to choose our own music. And during the song "RESPECT" the waiters come out and dance and sing to it. And it was such a blast guys. So much fun! :D
At one point, Jay had finished his sandwich but he hadn't eaten his pickles (I hate wasting food. T.T) and when he was wrapping it up, I went "I totally wasn't staring at your pickles." And Cathy burst into laughter because she hadn't seen it really and totally thought it was another innuendo (which it might as well have been). And made me write it down so we'd never forget. So that was just AHAHAHA. We also pulled back Pogo sticks again. Which was a fun way of making pervy jokes without being overtly obvious since there were KIDS in the table right next to ours. *laughs* Afterwards, we had that high we get when we're full and exhausted and we were talking about Four Season songs like "Walk Like a Man" or "Big Girls Don't Cry" and I was like, "I wish they had Sherry" and apparently, Cathy had thought it was "Cherry" and asked "Why did they choose the fruit Cherry? Couldn't they have gone Ba~na~na?" And I had to break it to her, in fits of laughter, that it was a name not a fruit and she was like, "Ohhhhh, yeah, well it could've still worked, Bro~cco~li." And again, fits of laughter because it actually fit and god. So much fun.
Afterwards, we separated and I had to go meet my mom and yeah. :D Yesterday was fun. I love when I hang out with my friends. If only I got down more of our jokes, because we really do spend most of our conversations in fits of laughter. :DDD I love them lots.
And to end this, I took a picture of this.

It's our Christmas tree! That time of year guys.. That time of year~ (It's so messily put together. *laughs* My sisters are AWESOME.)
Okay! I have a Creative writing assignment to work on, fic to work on. And um... Probably subbing stuff. :D I'll be posting again later with memes I found. :DDD I can't wait~
Tis all for now!

(Someone translated Yoko's radio show xD) but.. . yeah I'm pretty sure all six of them get along really well now~ :)
