[#027] Um. Did I mention Spam?

i. Mom: I'm going to go hang this up. (talking about her bathrobe)
Me: Of course, of course. You're gonna use it after all.
Mom: Yup. Until I die, then I won't be using it anymore.
Me: ...WHAT?! Where the heck did this come from?! Morbid much?!
Mom: Well, it's true, isn't it?
ii. I watched Sensei wa Erai today. I found it absolutely hilarious that Chinen... I mean, Chinen's character had a magazine of Yamapi right next to his remote.What, first Ohno then Yamapi? But in general... The drama special was... erm, interesting. I mean, it wasn't terrible, but at times, I thought the acting was questionable. And I do not normally pay attention to this kind of thing, because really... Acting is hard for me to notice. lolol As long as I'm entertained. XPPP But the plot took a twist I hadn't expected. I liked the actress that played the nurse, and DUDE, I totally was surprised when Abe Tsuyoshi (Hana Yori Dango) suddenly appeared on screen with longish black hair. It was just like, WTF. I wouldn't recommend it to those who aren't really interested in the juniors (well, to be fair, I wasn't either), because, honestly, the story's plot doesn't really hold it up. Although the kid Takekura (Arioka) was totally amusing. I liked him the most of the three, um, four boys. *nods nods*
iii. I've been wanting to recommend this for the past LORD KNOWS HOW LONG. But I haven't been able to put an appropriate post for this, not until now. And here we go! SMACourt 2002.12.30 - which means it's pretty damn old. But GOD, this is the funniest thing ever. It's two parts, I think an hour and a half long (except I can't remember quite well) with all the members of SMAP being sued for one reason or another. It was just absolutely dying throughout it while I was watching last night. There's a genius actor little kid, puppet masters, Shingo's fake smile, LOL SHINGO BEING USED BY THE OTHER SMAP MEMBERS AND HAS AN AUDIO TAPE FOR EVIDENCE (seriously, best part ever), KimuTaku and Nakai recalling past times (I had no idea they had such a history together). And that's not even ALL of it.
Really. The moral of this story is YOU MUST ALL WATCH.
iv. New York in a nutshell, I swear. That's all.
v. OH, so I've been going around professing love for my new default icon. (This one for easy reference.) And we won't get into the hilarity that I didn't even realize that was a P and how ironic that must be especially because I made it. And I wanted to let everyone know how this image came about. And it is me pimping a photo book from someone that even I'm surprised looked absolutely amazing in this. The person I'm talking about is actually Nagasawa Masami. I normally don't find her the most appealing, but this photo book was just absolutely gorgeous.

masami in lf? haven't seen, but the first thing i noticed was her lack of old woman hair cut.
some people don't like spam. they think canned meat is weird and undelicious.
and hey for you because i really like masami's new hair:
"Hey Masami-chan, settle a bet?" Ryo asks, waving the girl over as she walks with her script set in front of her. She mutters something noncomittal and then yelps when she crashes straight into another body.
"Told you to stop doing that," Ryo mutters with a roll of her eyes. Masami sticks a tongue out at him and is about to apologize, when she realizes she recognizes the other person on the ground.
"Oh, Yamashita-kun. What are you doing here?" she asks, brushing off her jeans as she stands up.
"Visiting. Ryo-chan said he was lonely." Yamapi grins, just as Ryo whacks him over the head.
"But what did you say about a bet?"
"Yamapi wants to know who the better kisser is," Ryo snickers. "Let him down gently."
"Hey," Yamapi gripes. "No. No."
"Come on, that was the most awkward three seconds I've ever seen, right Masami-chan?" Ryo asks, throwing an arm around her cheerfully. Yamapi glares and tugs her onto his side.
"No way, yours looked so painful I felt bad for Masami-chan."
"Uhm, guys--"
"Please, you had Hawaii and the sunset and the sand and everything right there and you screwed it all up."
"Well, you--"
"Guys," Masami cuts in, coughing loudly. "Truthfully..." Yamapi and Ryo both stare at her in anticipation.
"Ah, Masami-chan! Sorry I'm late," Nino says, jogging up behind her with a bright smile.
"He is." Masami laughs, thumbing in his direction, before brushing her lips lightly against his.
"Oh come on, he's the gayest out of them all," Yamapi mutters darkly as the two laugh and make to leave.
"But if I had to choose," Masami pauses, looking over her shoulder. "Nishikido."
Ryo raises his eyebrows in triumph and Yamapi groans. "But he beats you!"
