...However, it had been 7 A.M. (yes, 7 A.M.) and I desperately needed sleep.

Like I'd mentioned earlier, I have been seriously OD-ing on Harry Potter fanfiction. And I'm kind of glad I had been. When I was younger, I tended to only read three pairings: Harry/Ginny, Draco/Ginny, ...Marauders. Last one isn't really a pairing, but you know what I mean. The past week or two has been heavily Hermione-centric. Hermione/Sirius (I know, strange) and Hermione/Draco. Last night, I read one of the most amazing fic (like in general) I've ever read. It's titled Broken, written by inadaze22 and it's a Draco/Hermione. He felt something close to pity for the woman in front of him. And while that disturbed Draco to no end, what really disgusted him most of all was the harrowing fact that someone or something had broken Hermione Granger’s spirit beyond recognition. Guys, it is 36 long chapters (I think each had about 10K+ hence being up till 7 A.M.) but every bit of this story was well worth it. It's complicated, it's human, it's emotional, it's painful. It's basically life. At first, the characters may seem OOC and the start of it totally throws you for a loop, but when you keep reading, keep learning about these characters and what they've gone through, it all makes sense why they are the way they are. From the synopsis, it seems like the title only refers to Hermione, but it's not. It applies to each and every single character in the story--everyone was broken after the war (takes place after book 7) and in five years have changed so much, and not necessarily for the better. It's sad and heart-breaking and you can't help but feel for the characters--hate them just a little, then empathize for them a few minutes later. The romance doesn't even hit until the very end, and the gradualness is very important to the story. Without it, it wouldn't make sense, it wouldn't have fit their characters. Draco and Hermione are obviously the main characters in the story with Pansy and Blaise close behind. The friendships they build with each other are strong and heart-warming especially after you find out some key things that have happened in their lives. At first, our Gryffindors seem like crappy people, but even they're highlighted on and everything gets revealed (in more ways than one). Everything is gradual, but the ride is definitely worth it. THIS IS HOW MUCH I LOVED THIS FIC. Fuck, long paragraph on how it. It is definitely worth the read. Just don't be crazy like me and try to absorb it all in one go. lol (Although, I wouldn't be surprise if you wanted to? XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD)

And while I'm reccing fic:Here's five choices. 2 more Hermione/Draco, 3 (...5?) Hermione/Sirius. )

lol okay, I think that's enough. Too much HP. And yet, here I am, still reading more. XD Hope someone picks up any of the fics really. XD
