[#018] I'm A Boring Person, Sadly

i. Odd morning. This morning, my mom wakes me up asking if I was going to work (as I go in with her on the buses) and since I was, I jump out of bed wondering why the hell my cell phone alarm didn't go off. I stumble over to my phone and see that the time was only "4:14" which is about twenty-thirty minutes earlier than I usually wake up. So I head to my mom's room, asking her what time it was. The digital cable clock says the same thing my phone does, but my mom goes, "That time is wrong." I could've sworn it wasn't the end of daylight savings time, but if my mom said...

So that really gave me only about twenty-thirty minutes to get ready. A little less because we had to drive to the bus station. I get ready in record time and head downstairs only to ask my mom if it was really the right time. "My phone says it's 4:41, mom." She looks confused, pulls out her phone and goes, "...mine does too." "Is daylights savings time over?" because really that's the only explanation I can think of. But my mom knows that it's over the weekend she's off which is the next weekend. "......." "Does that mean we're early?" My mom asks, agape. "But my phone went off!" "Maybe it was a message or a text?" "...Well, I guess we'll sleep for another hour then." Mentally I laugh because there's my mom all ready--bundled up in her scarf and her jacket and her bags prepared.

And in that remaining half-hour to an hour, i spent the time blowdrying my hair more than I had the time before (since I'd been rushing) and watched last night's episode of How I Met Your Mother. Time well spent? I suppose. XD So yeah, sucked that I got up earlier than I was meant to, but ...whatever. XD

ii. Honestly? I have nothing to write about. Work is boring and I'm the only one in today. Plus the major project I've been working on is nearly done--holy shit. I really can't believe it. And I'm so close to being done that I envision being done 2-3 hours before the end of the day. I usually take up that time doing something else but for the first time in a long time, I CAN'T THINK OF SOMETHING TO DO AT THE SAME TIME. O.O

iii. And lastly, that meme I've been dragging out for like ever and just want to get done already. ~_~;;
