[#134] The Lizzie Bennet Diaries
Jul. 13th, 2012 09:09 amI was going to post about other things, this post back, but guess what. My life has been absorbed by something and I CANNOT STOP THINKING/TALKING/TRYING TO FIND AS MANY THINGS ABOUT IT AS IS POSSIBLE. AKA, this is me when I'm about to become obsessed and fangirling something super hard. In this case? The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
I know, I know. Pride and Prejudice has been done so many times and in so many different forms (i mean, ZOMBIES, guys. who thinks of this shit?) and most people are in love with it. I'll be honest, I have yet to read the book. I KNOW. IT'S SOMETHING I SHOULD'VE DONE BY NOW. And yet, I have watched pretty much everything related to it (and almost all the Jane Austen adaptations) and loved it ALL. I don't even know.
And this takes the series to a new level as it's Lizzie with a vlog. Basically, she's telling her story SOLELY from her point of view. We see Lydia and Jane and Charlotte (they made a decision to only have 3 sisters vs. 5 although there is a Mary and Kitty there). And it's funny and entertaining and TOTALLY FEELS IN CHARACTER. I cannot express to you how fucking perfect this is. And the casting is amazing, acting is hands-down fabulous. AND I JUST LOVE IT.
But no amount of me talking about it will show you how great this is. HERE'S THE FIRST EPISODE! :DDDD
(you can find the rest of the episodes here; there are currently 28 eps. in the story, we're up to the Netherfield story arc. I spent a good portion of yesterday evening watching ALL THE VIDEOS. It was such a time-suck, but I HAVE NO REGRETS.)
What's even better is that they're not just on Youtube. You can follow their tumblrs and twitters. *____________* So interactive that I cannot even. I LOVE THIS. AND YOU SHOULD TOO. THERE IS TOO MUCH CUTE. *SOBS FROM THE CUTENESS OF THE LATEST VIDEO* I'M NOT SPOILING IT HERE, BUT A;SLDFKJASDLFKJAKSDFJit's all over my twitter and tumblr though so. lol (Hopefully next post will be... well, more me stuff. lol LIKE POSSIBLY SEEING NAGASAWA MASAMI TMR?
