But I hope you guys don't mind me cheating. lolol
i. Happy stuff! :D
+ Last Friday, the 9 hour marathon Skype call with Jennie and Peyton. I still don't know how we spent so much time just babbling about who knows what. Although two hours of that were spent on Peyton on her pizza, from deciding if she should get it to the point when it was delivered. Another couple of hours spent talking fic - both
je_ficgames and
je_holiday. (Mainly Peyton and I spazzing to Jennie about all she's missed since she hasn't been reading fic.) I think all of us got phone calls from various people at some points (Peyton was miss popular). God, and I think they helped me try to solve a crossword puzzle. That I don't think I finished on that note. lolol
+ Peyton invited me to her place. "I have an empty bed for you." Bow-chika-wow-wow.
+ The episode Rashomama played on Friday. And that is, hands down, my favorite CSI episode of existence. If you watch CSI and have never seen this episode, you are so missing out. :DDD Pimpimpim.
+ I managed to convince Cyn and Jennie (although the second one was a joint effort with Peyton) to get twitters. Who rocks? :D (AKA, if you do not have a twitter. you should get one now. And then friend me. I'm tinyangl.)
+ Yamapi and V6 are going to be on VS Arashi. Who's ridiculously happy? I AM I AM. January 10th can't come any sooner. *____________*
+ Tegoshi wanting to be flawless. Total A+.
+ Tegoshi asking Yamapi to Karaoke straight out. Even more A+.
+ J-Friends' I Will Get There. If you've never heard it, you should now. Amazing fucking song.
+ Just Peyton in general. :D She knows why.
+ Toda Erika on Domoto Kyoudai. I didn't used to like her, but after Ryuusei no Kizuna and this interview, she's really growing on me. Also, Koichi's magic trick was fucking awesome. Making her birthday with the cards? DUDE. WHO DOES THAT?! Holy shit. Even if it's raw, everyone should watch just for that, honestly. It's worth it. *______________*
+ This picture of Okada, Morita, Miyake. Hysterical. Be warned, Okada's in his tightie whities. lololol
+ Subbed K-chan Episodes: 1 ♥ 2 ♥ 3 ♥ 4. All are absolutely hysterical. I totally recommend checking them out.
+ Getting my week of jesummary posted. :DDDD
+ Oh! Almost forgot. Grades are starting to trickle in. :DD A- for Grammar! Honestly? That's the only one that I thought would come close to a B (Granted, I don't know how Creative Writing prof will grade, so who knows). But hearing that it's an A makes me giddy. Maybe I'll be able to boost my average with this semester. Ridiculously happy.
+ I love my twitter. That is the only reason I have most of this list. lolol Looking back at my twitters so helps. XD
ii. Galileo Zero.
Finally managed to watch this despite downloading it ages ago. Ohmygod, so amazing. It only served to remind me that I really liked the drama and then I really wished that I saw Yukawa and Kaoru together again. Random points!
+ Yukawa being lecherous. Hysterical. I love the assistant trying to get girls to "play" with Yukawa but failing miserably.
+ The guy who plays Kusanagi. I'd seen him in a couple of other things, but for some reason, he was just really hot to me in this. I don't even know why.
+ I was genuinely surprised when I suddenly saw Masami show up. With her glasses and white coat. She thoroughly amused me though. Loved her interactions with Yukawa, trying to hit on him and convince him to stay by saying she had a really tiny bikini and then Yukawa going off on how it'd be great if girls wore bikinis to class. I was like WTF. LOL Also, love at the end when she leaves and he's babbling about love (as always) and she's like, he doesn't get it. Yukawa never did get a clue.
+ LOVED MIURA. Ohmygod. He had Yukawa down, honestly. I thought it was brilliantly acted and just all around amazing. ;alskdjlkasfjd I was honestly waiting for him to show up on screen and when he did, I flailed hard. :DDDD
+ The cases were good. I mean, I liked them but it's not like I can say much about them. lolol
+ This just made me want to find out what happens in the dman movie. Wantwantwant. alsdkjalfksjdf
+ OH. At the end of the special, we got a performance of Shibasaki Kou and Fukuyama Masaharu. SO BEAUTIFUL. OHMYGOD. I knew they performed together for this, but I'd never actually seen them together so seeing Fukuyama in the back with the guitar made me flail ridiculously.
+ Honestly, a good watch for those who saw Galileo before. And if you've never seen Galileo, what the heck are you doing reading this?! lol Seriously. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. :DDDDD Plus Miura = A+.
+ OH, random note. For a split second, Sailor Venus was one of the assistants. I was like OH HAY. LOOK WHO'S ON MY SCREEN! :D
iii. It's the holidays! I thought I'd be nice and offer up some of my writing (as terrible as it is). The last time I ask for prompts, I know I failed. DDD: Sorry. But this time, I have more free time (aka right now) so prompt me something to write for you! Granted, I have no promises for length, so it may range from one sentence to .....Well, let's not go there. lol So prompt away! :D No deadline that I can think of. Hopefully, I'll be better about this one. *dies*

omg, this is such cheese. i'm so rusty at writing. sorry. D:

Yamapi thought his fascination with Koyama was starting to get a little ridiculous. He didn't remember ever staring as Koyama would enter the room, face a little flushed from the cold as he unwrapped his scarf, each turn revealing a little bit more of his neck that Yamapi hadn't seen before. Yamapi swallowed as Koyama would shrug off his heavy coat, then throw his head back in laughter over something Shige had said. Then Koyama would comb a hand through his hair, giving it that fussy look without looking too messy and Yamapi wondered if it'd be weird if he reached over to pat it down and make it neat again.
"Your mouth's open," Ryo snorted beside him.
Yamapi flushed, looking over. "Shut up."
"Seriously. Googly eyes are not attractive on you."
Yamapi frowned. "I was not making--"
"Yes, yes you were," Ryo interrupted. "And when are you going to get over yourself and just ask him out? It's getting annoying watching you puppy worship him."
"I am not--"
"Yes, yes you are," Ryo cut in again. Yamapi frowned at him. "At this rate, we're going to have to do something for you guys. And you do not want Tegoshi planning."
Yamapi paled. "There's nothing to plan anyway. It's just a passing thing."
"What is?" Yamapi's head turned to see Koyama blinking at them curiously. Ryo withheld a laugh--kinda, sorta.
"Um. The idea that I could be a doctor," Yamapi blurted out, the first thing that he could think of.
Koyama blinked. "Well, you could if you really wanted it. It'd be a little tough, ne?"
Yamapi chuckled awkwardly. "Um, yeah. I don't think I could deal with all the studying."
Koyama beamed brightly. "Whatever you think is good." With that, Koyama moved over to Tegoshi, asking if the younger boy wanted some tea or anything. Yamapi watched, then let out a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, you're not crushing," Ryo said after a minute of silence.
"Shut up," Yamapi snapped.
--
Yamapi couldn't understand why this was so awkward for him. Sure, he'd had his crushes--males and females, he didn't mind either--but something about this made Yamapi squelch at the idea of actually making any "move" on Koyama.
"If you tell me that he's the one, I am going to hit you," Ryo said as Yamapi, Ryo, and Jin played video games, Mario Kart, on Yamapi's couch.
Yamapi rolled his eyes. "Dramatic much? It's nothing like that."
"Maybe it's because you work with him?" Jin suggested, leaning to the right as he tried to make a turn on the screen.
"That sounds logical. I'm impressed, Bakanishi," Ryo replied, right after he pumped his fist in the air, winning first in the race.
Jin stuck his tongue out, winning second. "I have my moments."
"Mm," Yamapi said distractedly as his car scored tenth place. Ryo and Jin exchanged glances before shaking their heads.
"Again?" Jin asked.
"Yeah, I've never beaten Pi so many times."
Yamapi made another noise, too distracted in his own thoughts to even protest.
--
Koyama's the one that approached him. "Yamapi, are you free for dinner tomorrow?"
it took a second before Yamapi realized the thunk that came after the question didn't have anything to do with Koyama and more to do with the bottle of water that he had been holding. Yamapi flushed, picking up the bottle before standing back up to meet Koyama's expecting gaze. "Um, I. Yes?"
Koyama beamed--a sight that made Yamapi's stomach turn--and cheerfully said, "Great! I'll tell Ryo-chan that you said yes too."
Yamapi blinked. "Eh?"
"Ryo suggested we all have dinner together. Shige and Tegoshi both have tests to study for and Massu said something about filming, but if it's just the three of us, that's okay, right?" Koyama counted off the members with his fingers, as though he would forget one of them if he wasn't careful.
oh shit, part 2
Date: 2008-12-23 07:12 am (UTC)"Don't worry, I'll find some way to get out of it. So you and your crush can be alone at dinner. Don't waste this," Ryo said warningly.
Yamapi blinked. "Wait, this was for me?"
Ryo sighed, hanging his head. "Pi, I never figured you to be this slow." Yamapi frowned. "Just enjoy yourself. You still know how to have a date, right?"
Yamapi's frown deepened. "Shut up. I don't need your help with that too."
"Are you sure? I can give you some pointers." Yamapi rolled his eyes, shoving Ryo.
"Shut up, ass. I can take it from here."
"You'd better. I don't want to deal anymore with your fawning."
Yamapi rolled his eyes again.
--
It's not that Yamapi's nervous or anything. It just so happens that his water spilled a little; he dropped a bit of rice on his lap and tried to brush it off discretely but only served to spill more water onto the table; he accidentally flung his head back too far when he was laughing at some story Koyama told that he knocked into a passing waiter and got more water spilled down his front.
Yamapi declared that he was breaking ties with water from now on.
Koyama laughed before pulling out his keys and opening the lock to his door, the closest to the restaurant. "It's too bad Ryo-chan's not here. He missed out."
"While I'm thankful because I can just imagine the comments," Yamapi grumbled, trying to focus more on the fact that his shirt was dripping wet and he needed dry clothes than the fact that he was currently standing in Koyama's place after what seemed like a date--embarrassing moments and all.
Koyama grinned. "Isn't that half the fun?" he threw over his shoulder before disappearing into his bedroom. Yamapi sighed, removing his jacket and placing it neatly over some chair. Koyama walked out a second later, his jacket gone and the flush on his face from the cold still there, a shirt in his hands. "Here you go. It'll be warmer in this than in that. I'll put it in the wash." Koyama grinned again.
It's not like Yamapi had never been shirtless in front of Koyama, but as he stripped off his outer shirt and shrugged into the new shirt Koyama'd given him, something about Koyama's unmoving gaze made him go red. "Thanks," he said, just to break the silence. "I'll make sure to give it back to you." Yamapi made a move to grab his jacket and in his mind, he had all his actions mapped out, just for safety's sake (he couldn't risk looking like an idiot even more).
Halfway to the door, Koyama's "Is that how you end every date?" stopped Yamapi in his tracks. Slowly, Yamapi turned on his heel to face Koyama who was leaning against one of his chairs, arms folded and an eyebrow quirked upwards.
"Huh?" Yamapi said articulately.
"You don't usually end dates just by going, "Bye, thanks for everything." and leave, do you?"
"This was a date?"
"Wasn't it?" Koyama replied back with an easy smile. "It was a nice one."
Yamapi stared. Paused. Tried to think of something to say, but only managed helplessly. "I didn't think you knew it was a date."
"Ryo-chan was nice enough to let me know what this meant to you," Koyama said, starting to walk towards Yamapi, the smile never leaving his face.
"Ah," Yamapi replied, the only thing he could think to say, other than thoughts and plans to murder Ryo in his sleep.
"So was this a date?" Koyama asked again, in front of Yamapi now. Yamapi exhaled, then realized that he could count Koyama's eyelashes if he so as pleased. His heart skipped a beat.
"Do you want it to be a date?" Yamapi asked, licking his lips.
Koyama laughed, eyes twinkling as he does so. "Yeah. I do."
Yamapi exhaled again. "Good," he muttered just as he leaned in, pressing his lips lightly against Koyama's. As he pulled back, he felt Koyama's eyes flutter closed and Koyama sighed against his lips.
"Proper ending to a date," Koyama mused, eyes opening.
Yamapi grinned. "Not until we finalize a second date."
"Tomorrow night?"
"Now it's a proper ending."
wtf part three. >.< i cannot believe myself.
Date: 2008-12-23 07:13 am (UTC)Yamapi punched Ryo in the shoulder the next time he saw him (the next day).
"Ow! What was that for?" Ryo snapped, hand clutching his arm.
"For telling Koyama everything," Yamapi retorted.
"Well, if I didn't, then nothing would get done." Ryo grinned, wagging his eyebrows. "Did anything get done?"
"Stop that," Yamapi said, trying to block out just Ryo's eyebrows with his hand. "And stop being so crude."
"Don't tell me I have to teach you that too," Ryo sighed.
Yamapi rolled his eyes just as Koyama walked into the room, unraveling his scarf. Koyama's eyes caught Yamapi's and suddenly, Yamapi felt like whatever Ryo was doing, talking, whatever-ing didn't have anything to do with him.
"Oh God, I get you two together and still you're annoying as shit. What will it take?" Ryo whined.
"Shut up," Yamapi snapped again before walking towards Koyama. They had plans to finalize after all.

HOW THIS HAD SO MUCH RYO, I'LL NEVER KNOW. I'm sorry. DDD: I fail so hard.

i. Verse 1.
Kame doesn't regret anything in his life, not that he would ever let himself. He worked hard to get where he was, made decisions that he was happy with and got him where he was now. He honestly had no qualms with what he'd done.
Except he didn't know when he turned around and realized that somehow in the span of five, ten, fifteen years, everyone had all grown up and expanded--wives, children, families. (Husbands, lovers, affairs, pets, houses.) He doesn't know if he wishes he had the same kind of thing himself, or if he just wished he suddenly didn't feel so lonely. Kame doesn't let himself think on this for too long.
"Hey, let's go out to drink tonight," Kame invites the others after a shooting of KAT-TUN IV Every1 (Their third reincarnation of their previous Cartoon KAT-TUN).
Jin and Koki wave to him from the door as they say that they're going home to their respective families. Junno apologizes, saying he had a tournament to get to that evening--his billiards career having taken off about six years ago. Ueda says that he has to get to bed, saying he has an early match the next morning--his boxing career having taken off more than eight years ago. And even though Kame looks at Nakamaru with a hint of plea in his eyes--something Kame doesn't do often--Nakamaru apologizes weakly, mumbling something about a date that evening.
Kame's suddenly realizes why he doesn't invite them out anymore.
ii. Chorus.
Kame's nursing a glass in his hands as he sighs, thinking that maybe he's gotten a little to old for this kind of life if he's already wanting to call it quits and just go home after only one glass. Kame shakes his head, refusing to think on it and drains the rest of his glass, asking for a refill. The bartender gives him a small smile, doing as he's asked and placing a glass of water to the right of Kame's drink.
Kame gives him a thankful smile before taking another sip of his drink, sighing.
"Kamenashi-kun?" the sudden and surprised voice asks from behind him. Kame turns to see Shige sliding into the chair next to him, eyebrows scrunched together in curiosity.
"Kato-kun," Kame returns, frowning. Last he remembered, Shige had a wife--young too, half Shige's age, something that hadn't been so openly accepted by the public. "What are you doing here?"
Shige chuckles, ordering his usual with the bartender--Kame wonders what it means that Shige actually has a usual. "I asked you first," he says easily, his drink already in his hands. Shige takes a drink and Kame watches as he swallows, grimacing slightly and then sighing.
"No, you didn't," Kame snorts. "All you said was my name and left it at that."
"It was implied," Shige returns, twirling his straw in his glass. Kame thinks the sound of ice hitting glass has never sounded so entrancing as it does then.
"I never took you as the type to avoid questions." Kame quirks his eyebrows at Shige who only laughs lightly, holding up his glass to Kame.
"There are many things you don't know about me, Kamenashi-kun," he replies, a twinge of bitterness in his voice as he turns to stare at a point in front of him. Kame blinks, then exhales.
He doesn't press the issue.

Date: 2009-01-05 09:51 am (UTC)--
Massu opens his eyes and he suddenly feels the weight of both the microphone in his hands--which has started to slip from all his sweat--and the one on his shoulders as he looks out on the crowd. It's been 15 years since they debuted, 16 depending on who you asked--to NewS, it's their 16th; the hiatus having meant nothing other than pausing a little in group activities, they're still NewS.
Or at least they were NewS.
Koyama's talking, but Massu's drowned him out, squinting at all the people with raised penlights and uchiwas which undoubtedly have his smile--his trademark smile that every fan seems to know him as having--uchiwas that will no longer have the name NewS behind it but a sole Tegomass.
At least that's what is awaiting them at the end of Countdown.
They're hosting Countdown for the 3rd time--the last time ever and Massu can feel the minutes slowly trickle down--30 minutes left, 20, 10. 5.
"With the end of Countdown coming, NewS has something to announce," Koyama starts and that's when Massu feels his stomach plummet. He had managed well enough for the entire concert earlier that day. And every other medley and performance throughout Countdown. Beside him, Ryo grabs his hand and squeezes, and Massu can't bring himself to look at Ryo in thanks. Instead, he looks out at the crowd who have become startlingly still.
Then they scream, "EH!?" in voices so loud that it echoes in his ears for days and days to come.
That's when Massu knows that Koyama's probably told everyone. His body moves without him knowing and he raises the microphone to his mouth and sings with the rest of NewS.
Hoshi wo Mezashite. He thinks that Julie was being particularly ironic in telling them that's what they'd close the show with.
Massu shuts his eyes, squeezes them while he belts out the lyrics--lyrics that are being twisted around and he can feel his heart constrict, his eyes start to fill with tears and he swears he can hear Koyama breaking out of the song to brush away tears.
Ryo's hand has never left his and when they finish, Massu looks over grateful to see that Ryo's eyes are red--but no streaks of tears on his face and Massu wonders if he'd done the same thing Massu had.
Koyama's talking again, not that anyone else cares because nobody can speak right now--not a single one of them. And Massu tightens his grip on Ryo before they raise their hands up and scream to the crowd for the last time. "We are NewS!"
With that, Massu feels like he's waking up from a very long, very satisfying dream.
Ryo doesn't let go of his hand till they reach the dressing room.
--
They break up because Julie thinks she'll get more revenue if they're apart--Koyama stays as an MC for multiple variety shows, Yamapi is, of course, first and foremost an actor, but he has solo jobs lined up before him, Shige also stays as an actor (surprisingly) although Massu suspects he works a lot more in the Jimusho's legal department, Ryo stays with Kanjani8--who is still a unit (even though there are rumors that it won't stick for too much longer). And Tegomass stay as a permanent unit, becoming their first priority. Like Tegomass could serve as a replacement for NewS.
Massu thinks Julie's only joking herself--with her in command after Johnny's death and Mary's retirement, it's only a matter of time before the Jimusho'll run itself to the ground. From ideas like splitting up groups to debuting a group of the worst troublemakers in Johnny's Jrs and eliminating a lot of the tie-ins that many of the boys worked their asses off to get and to keep. Massu's not sure where all the money's coming from--if there even is any.
A part of him wishes he'd quit already--that this isn't what he wants anymore, not when everyone's broken up and what he'd been working towards, at, with is completely out of his sight.
Tegoshi's excited though, but he's always been prone to being optimistic, going towards everything head-on. Something Massu feels he's lost somewhere along the way after becoming settled as Massu of NewS.

Yori's not quite sure what to make of the school, really. She's even a little surprised that she's stayed for so long when it's just so strange--what with siblings seeming to fall for each other (she sees the way Zero looks at Yuuki), a principal who doesn't seem to have a single wit about him, and an oblivious roommate who gets into too much trouble than she probably should, honestly.
Plus a separate section that only takes classes at night, which just cannot be possible and Yori wonders of the legitimacy of this class, quite frankly. That the principal would have separate dorms, makes sure they don't interact with the day class, and even has Yuuki and Zero patrolling the school to make sure nothing happens? It all equals the kind of thing that once you hear of, you run and never look back.
So why does she stay? She's not quite so sure herself, really. Yori stares at the open textbook in front of her and an abandoned pencil that's tittering so close to the edge that it's about to fall off. She wrinkles her nose.
The door behind her opens and Yori spins around to find Zero carrying an unconscious Yuuki who's already sporting a bruise on her right cheek and this shallow cut that makes Yori sigh--nothing she hasn't seen before.
"What happened?" Yori asks, standing up from her chair and gathering the first aid kit that's sitting right next to her table--that she has to remember to refill, on that note.
Zero shakes his head. "Minor accident while patrolling." Yori tries to hold back the wrinkle in her nose when she hears that. "Will she be okay?"
Yori nods as she starts to treat Yuuki's wound. "Yeah, she'll be fine."
Without another second wasted, Zero's out of the room and the door's shut behind him. Yori sighs again, shaking her head as she presses a bandaid on Yuuki's cheek. "I really wish you'd stop getting into trouble," Yori murmurs as she pulls Yuuki's covers over her.
Yori goes back to her desk and shuts her textbook, turning off the desk light before moving to her bed. She looks over at Yuuki's bed and watches as the blanket moves up and down as Yuuki breathes slowly. She sighs again.
Right. This is why she stays.
--
Yori doesn't know exactly what's going on in the school, but she does know--or at least suspects--that it just can't be good. Not when Yuuki comes home with her hand bleeding from puncture wounds.
"I fell into a fork," Yuuki says weakly.
Yori raises an eyebrow. "A what?"
"A fork?"
Pause. "Right."
Yuuki knows that Yori doesn't believe her, but Yori won't push. She figures if Yuuki will ever want to tell her, she would. Yuuki smiles at her gratefully as Yori tends to her wound--wrapping gauze around her hand.
"There you go," Yori sighs, pulling back and closing up her newly refilled first aide kit.
Yuuki grins at her. "Thanks so much," she says before moving to change.
"Yeah, no problem," Yori responds, swiveling in her chair to get back to her homework.
"No really," Yuuki says with a sigh. Yori meets her eyes. "Thanks for everything."
Yori gives her a smile in return. "And it's really no problem. That's what I'm here for." Yuuki smiles at her and Yori can't help but think that it's a shame whenever Yuuki doesn't smile.
this was two parts. i hate you. XD
