i. Guys, you know me. You know I have totally declared myself cold-hearted at times because it's really tough to get me to cry about something. I get sad, yes, but to physically cry rarely happens. (Even if lately I've been able to do that a lot more often.) Because of this, I can gauge how well a movie/drama gets me emotionally invested. I just watched A Girl That Leapt Through Time, the live action movie with Naka Riisa and I BAWLED LIKE A BABY. IT IS FUCKING AMAZING.

First thing's first though, the summaries all around are very lacking in detail and I thought this was totally going to be just like the anime/manga. It wasn't. Instead of focusing on the girl in those series, this takes place in the future when she's a mother and Naka Riisa plays her daughter, Akari. Her mom, Kazuko, gets into this accident and Akari vows to get this message that Kazuko wanted to get to this guy that is in a picture with her, a Fukamachi. Kazuko had made the elixir (two vials worth) that would help her travel through time and they worked. Akari manages to go back in time, except two years after when she should've, landing in year 1974. And that's where the story takes off. cut for spoilers. )

Long story short, it is an amazing movie. go see it. GO SEE IT NOWWWWWWWWWWWW.

ii. I got my Kindle today! I am so excited to play with it. This morning, I checked the tracker again and saw that it was finally in Nanuet so I was anxiously waiting all afternoon for the UPS truck. AND IT CAME. And I already have it nicely organized with the (free) books that I had dled a while back so yay to that! ♥ It's kind of strange how excited I am to READ lol (oh shit i can even put personal documents in it. DOES THAT MEAN I COULD TOTALLY READ FIC ON MY KINDLE? DYING.)

iii. Predictably, meme! :D Day One: Write ten lines of dialogue between two characters who had drunken sex last night and are not talking about it. Ever.
Day Two: Write a scene in four sentences in which two characters bond over something that would seem trivial to a passerby.
Day Three: Write seven sentences from the perspective of a passerby witnessing Day Two's scene.
Day Four: Write a character's reaction to someone's love confession in one sentence.
Day Five: Write a scene in eight sentences in which someone's going through his/her version of "It's a Wonderful Life."
Day Six: Write a scene in six sentences in which a character is searching for someone in the last moments of the end of the world.
Day Seven: Write a breakup scene in three sentences without giving the reason for it or using dialogue.
Day Eight: Write two characters' second kiss in two sentences.
Day Nine: Ask flist for prompts. Write one sentence each for the first five prompts you receive.
Day Ten: Use these lyrics as a prompt: "There's only now/There's only here/Give in to love/Or live in fear" ("Another Day" from RENT) and write a story in nine sentences.
(Super Bonus Challenge: Use a different pairing/character each day.)

...Otherwise, I CAN'T EXPLAIN WHY TWO OF MY CARDIGANS HAVE GONE MISSING. T.T It's a sad sad life.

It's been... over two weeks? (the fuck?) Things that have amused me since then...
i. I have been binging on bloopers lately. I blame watching The Big Bang Theory ones and then that leading to a marathon of ANY OTHERS I COULD FIND.

And now I'm reccing them to you guys because THEY ARE SO WORTH IT.

Cut just because. )

And this last one needs to be embedded (and outside of the cut). Matt Bomer and Tim Dekay dancing to Kesha's Tik Tok

Hysterical.

ii. Then I discovered Fanmail.biz - Celebrity Addresses Database where they essentially tell you how you can go about getting autographs from various celebrities (singers, actors, actresses, writers, etc.). So flipping awesome! Sure, some autographs are presigned, secretarial, but there are a bunch that are AUTHENTIC and can even be personally addressed!!! You better BET I'm totally trying this. *____________* My first goal is to get autographs from the NCIS cast. SQUEEE!!! (P.S. Someone there even got a signature from UTADA. ♥♥♥

iii. So I don't know if you guys have heard of Day Zero? It's this thing where you write down a list of 101 goals that you'll achieve in 1001 days (essentially 3 years and 8 months, I think?). And well, C has had her own list for a couple of months, maybe even a year so I've heard about it often. I've always had my own "list" in my head of things I want to do before a certain point in time, but then realized that I have a shit memory so... I got my own account over here! So far there's only about 40+ things on it but it's filling up surprisingly fast! I haven't done anything yet but I'm excited to finally get a move on things I know I could've done ages ago but never had any motivation to do. :D

iv. Lastly, REAL LIFE SHIT!
- Sept 30 was C's bday and she has been wanting to skydive on her birthday for ages. So of course, we made reservations for that day. Go figure that that was the day the rainstorm hit the east coast. Or at least was SUPPOSED to hit the east coast. That morning, we had to reschedule for Friday afternoon because, well... RAIN. Instead we went to Spice and went shopping, lol. Was fun! Then Friday morning rolled around and LOL, the rain that didn't hit Thursday (which was pretty awesome since we WERE out that day) decided to COME DOWN LIKE BUCKETS. It sucked ass. So again, we had to reschedule for a week later which is tomorrow. Essentially, this point is just to say, OH MY GOD, I'M GOING SKYDIVING TOMORROW. I SHOULD SURVIVE. BUT I AM SO FREAKED OUT (not as much as like two weeks ago, funnily enough). a;sdlkfjalsdkfjlakjsdfk Excited though!!!!!!! *____________* I've always wanted to go skydiving.
- Speaking of tomorrow, Jin's concert tickets go on sale!!!!!!! Go figure that I'm out when they do. lol I have to get my sister to buy them at 1 PM EST exactly because I am GETTING GOOD SEATS, DAMNIT. (Yeah, there's no way I'm paying for standing room. For one thing, the most expensive is 120 dollars. For another, i don't even want to STAND really. I'd rather be sitting, thnx.) I really wish C liked Jin though because I'm not so fond of going to concerts by myself, lol
- Dad's bday is the 12th! He's turning FIFTY-FIVE. oh, shit. He seriously doesn't look it though. Anyway, about two days ago, lol, my mom goes, "...Your dad wants a party." I was like, UM, WAY TO TELL ME A WEEK BEFORE HIS BIRTHDAY. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO ARRANGE THAT, MOM. :////// But I ultimately decided that I'd throw him that party and we just did it two weeks later so, lol, we're celebrating my dad's bday HELLA late (on the 24th, whoops).
- Lastly, grandmother's going back to the Philippines! She's leaving Nov 1st and staying there for three months. No, I am NOT cheering in my corner. XD

I don't know if I've ever watched a drama episode more than FIVE TIMES. (I have this thing about rewatching things--unless I really, really want to rewatch something, I would rather watch new stuff than rewatching stuff I've already seen.) But the one thing I've seen more than twice? ALL OF ORANGE DAYS. lol. I watched it at least twice by myself and then I recced it to my sisters/brother who watched it at different times. Whenever they watched it, I usually watched alongside so... lol I've seen that drama at least three/four times as a whole. XD It's one of the few I will break my own rule for, lol.

Day 13 → Favorite old drama | Day 14 → Favorite male character | Day 15 → Favorite female character | Day 16 → Your guilty pleasure drama | Day 17 → Favorite drama SP | Day 18 → Favorite title sequence | Day 19 → Best drama cast | Day 20 → Favorite kiss | Day 21 → Favorite ship | Day 22 → Favorite drama finale | Day 23 → Most annoying character | Day 24 → Best quote | Day 25 → A drama you plan on watching (old or new) | Day 26 → OMG WTF? finale | Day 27 → Best first episode | Day 28 → Saddest drama moment | Day 29 → First drama obsession | Day 30 → Current drama obsession

So I'd almost forgotten that shows start at the end of September until I realized all the American show comms I follow started going "OMG, *INSERT SHOW NAME HERE* IS STARTING SOON!!!!!! ;SLDKJFSLDJF WHAT DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN?!" lol And as such, I have watched SO MUCH TELEVISION this month alone that I really shouldn't have much of a "real life" if we calculated this all properly. XD

Mainly American shows with only one Japanese thing--Darekiss movie, Unnatural History (all of), finally finished end of Flashforward, then premieres of Bones, CSI, Fringe, Glee, House, NCIS LA, Supernatural and the only new show on this list--Undercovers. Like I said a lot. XD )

No meme for this post because um, I think that's a little too much for even me. XD SO MUCH BABBLE. XD

Also, if you guys don't know about this comm, you guys should totally check out [livejournal.com profile] spoiler_alert--it's not only for spoilers, but it gives previews and sneak peek clips for the next few episodes. It's an awesome community. :D

Now with all that said, I HAS LIAR GAME SEASON 2 AWAITING ME. :DDDDDDDD

As such a whole post dedicated to all a bit of the media I've been watching lately. If I did all, we'd never finish this post. XDDDD I mean, take a look at my Scrapbook 2010. I swear to God, I'm surprised it still hasn't gone over in coding because holy hell am I cramming it with so much stuff.

i. I just finished Kobe Shimbun no Nanokakan. Well, I say just, but it was maybe an hour or so ago. I had to recover after all. Guys? I actually cried and if you know me, I never cry for anything--not even the WWII drama special that was utterly emotional in and of itself. Or even 1 Litre of Tears even though that was MADE to make people cry. I cried for this though. There was something just additionally emotional about it when they added real life parts to it (real pictures, interviews and even made sure to put in the pictures of the people the actors were portraying). In that, it made it partially a documentary as well. And that made me wibbly yes. But it was really the verbal readings of an editorial and a letter that killed me. T.T I started tearing up like nobody's business to the point that I even had to open up my tissue box (which I hadn't needed until that point). I loved it though. It was a look into an experience I have never seen, have never really thought of especially since I've never been in an earthquake myself so... the damage, the trouble, everything... I was just emotionally tugged into it. T.T.T.T It's worth a watch, guys. Seriously.

ii. I was... kind of rewatching Mei-chan no Shitsuji and suddenly caught sight of these two scenes that made me laugh so hard.
Do I ship two butlers? Maybe. )

iii. On the track of Mei-chan no Shitsuji, watched Shige's Troubleman's first episode! (I say on the track because one of the girls in Mei-chan is in Troubleman. :D AND SHE IS AWESOME (LY CREEPY). lolol) It was... interesting. Just as weird as I'd expected coming from SABU. Although as soon as the first ep was done, all I could think was.... that's it?! GIVE ME MORE DAMN IT. I want to know wtf is up with that apartment building! Way too many messed up stories. I have no real opinion on it just yet until I can watch more, but so far, it is making me want to watch more. That said, I haven't seen any other dramas this season yet--Planning on watching the twitter drama (at least the first ep because I haven't heard much good about it), the Kimura drama, the Ueto Aya detective drama... I think I might have more but I can't really remember. XD What are you guys watching! :D

iv. Other (American) TV shows:
Cut for spoilers! Bones, Flashforward, Fringe, Glee, Supernatural. )

v. And this point is dedicated solely to CSI! Normally I wouldn't flail about CSI mainly because it's gotten kind of lackluster for me -- NOT ENOUGH GREG/ERIC SZMANDA, THANKS. But I love the episodes that essentially highlight the lab techs because they tend to be the most fun and entertaining and because WENDY/HODGES. You know, when they first introduced Hodges--the kiss-ass who was as in love with Grissom as he was with himself (which is a lot)--I didn't really like him, but ever since they took the route of shipping him with Wendy, I've progressively started to enjoy his presence more and more. <3 And this most recent episode totally highlighted them AGAIN!!! Plus it was hysterical, but more importantly, so much eye-fucking between them... <3 I highlighted two of their scenes--one being VERY IMPORTANT for those that even still care about CSI lol.

CAPS, CAPS AND DIALOGUE AND CAPS!!! )

All in all, this was a surprisingly decent episode. I love when Hodges pretended he and Wendy were Langston and Catherine. Especially because they went all out and even did Wendy's hair like Catherine's. SO AMUSING. <3 I almost wish they'd keep the Crime Techs because they were absolutely squishable, plus two of them were flirting. :DDDD I was like, ooh! She slipped, you caught her---AND OHMYGOD IT JUST CALLED ME BACK TO CATHERINE/WARRICK. The same thing happened to them. Ohmygod. ...Um, I miss that ship as well. T.T Something so could've happened between them. Oh Warrick. Anyway, yes, totally worth a watch even for those who stopped watching with Grissom. Or Warrick. Or Sara. Whichever cast member left. XDDD

Wow. This was a ridiculously long post. O.O Um, yeah. ...Yeah.

Oh, P.S. If you haven't seen the latest Tegomass PV, you totally should because Tegomass are gay for each other (as if we all didn't already know).

...The show, not the actual... you know, body parts. XD

i. It's good to actually be up to date on a running tv show because it means I can watch it when it's actually airing. This week was irregular for Bones, because dude, two new episodes in one week. It was kind of amazing. *___________________* Even better, they were fucking awesome episodes, if you ask me. I swear, this show just keeps me so entertained and Booth/Brennan are just the OTP of a lifetime. I really can't wait till the end of the season because if what I heard about the last two episodes are true, I'm going to be SO PLEASED. :DDDDDD And yes. Just. Lots and lots of hearts. Plus today's episode had a lot of heartwarming moments with Sweets AND GORDON-GORDON (Stephen Fry) CAME BACK. I hadn't known at all so pleasant surprise! (Also, one of the best Brennan moments ever. I loled so hard.)

ii. I tried to do schoolwork today, I totally tried. Did it work? ...Marginally. The most I managed was finishing The Temple of the Golden Pavilion which is, by far, one of the most boring books I've read. (A lot of it is due to the really, really slow beginning and way too many similes. So annoying.) The only thing that kept me going was trying to see how fucking far the main character would go. The kid was crazy. I'm sorry. I don't know if I've ever been so creeped out by a main character. His mind set, his obsession with the Golden Temple, his concept of beauty. a;sldkfjaslkj Even worse is that it was written in first person so you really get "down and dirty." Ugh. After I read it, I felt like I had to take a shower. Ughughugh. I'm kinda glad I never did finish the movie with the rest of the class. Bad only because one of the quiz questions connects to the movie and the book, but she gave us two bonus questions so I think I can manage to make up for missing that question. Also, yesterday, read the 10 chapters I needed for The Turning of the Screw. Guys. It's a horror novel. If you know me at all, I hate horror stuff. I thought that movies were bad, but reading it was a hundred times worse. I felt so creeped out. Doesn't help that I was reading it relatively late. DDDDD: Not fun whatsoever.

Now, all that's left is starting some of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. At least enough to give me something to analyze for my weekly response. Start on The Makioka Sisters. And study for my Astronomy quiz on Tuesday! I think I can manage before classes start, ne? :DDDDDD Thank God I started early. ~_~

iii. Last point, because I really don't have anything to talk about. (I feel like I had so much more earlier, but forgot it all.) It has gotten so HARD to find random scenes of pairings that I want to see. Everything's just in fanvid mode, and what if I don't want it in fanvid mode? D: Like yesterday (I think it was yesterday anyway), I had the sudden urge to watch Angel/Cordelia scenes. Could not find a single one. Today, I wanted to watch Barney/Robin scenes. Again, couldn't find a single one (okay, that's a lie. I found one at least). But still? D: Does anyone remember the good old days when there were fansites for every pairing and then they'd cut out clips of all their scenes together? Case in points: Logan/Veronica (Veronica Mars), Tony/Ziva (NCIS), Booth/Brennan (Bones). There's more out there. But god. now i'm caught up in watching random scenes from Logan/Veronica. Another OTP I loved. *distracted* ...What was my point again? ....Right. If only things were so easy for the pairings I randomly were thinking about recently. Sigh. ...Now back to Logan/Veronica.

P.S. Hope everyone has a good weekend! :D I'm actually going out tomorrow! Gasp! XD

Edit: Snagged from [livejournal.com profile] lunarsweetie. omg, it is kinda creepy how accurate this is when the quiz was kind of weird.

...The show, not the actual... you know, body parts. XD

I'm sorry. I don't know if I've ever been so creeped out by a main character. i. SEIGI NO MIKATA SEIGI NO MIKATA. A;SLDKFJALSDJKJASLKFDJ OMG. I LOVE IT SO HARD. This is hands down my favorite drama of the season. Even with Code Blue with Yamapi's character's way of fixing everything in the end. Maou with its overdramaticness that I've totally gotten into. And Shibatora with the amazing Maya Miki/Fujiki Naohitio pair and the adorableness of Koike and his female co-star. Seigi no Mikata just wins for me. So hard.

Comments on episode 7-8 which I just got done watching. Spoilers obviously. )
Somewhat on the same track, I downloaded the single of the theme song for Seigi no Mikata, Honto wa Ne by Okumura Hatsune. Like I didn't love this song any more. a;sldkfjalsjfdlas I love it. Apparently she has an album somewhere. Want it. Will try and find it later. :DDDD

ii. "Teppei no baka~~" lol Guess who said this?
Maya Miki!
Just rambling as I watch Haneru no Tobira. Was watching as I typed. Kinda live. )
;aksdjflaksjd omg. there's a clip of Arashi on the Abbreviation Train segment. Please tell me that's either coming up or is out there somewhere that i can watch. Like now. Please. ♥♥♥ (MATSUJUN AND NINO'S HAIR. Hysterical.)

iii. I have been using Twitter so much that I don't even remember what I've talked about and what I haven't. Seriously. As such, I am going to actually consult my twitter to see what I've been doing. lol Watched 100 Scene no Koi with Mizushima Hiro. It really was simple. LOL. I was hella amused. The... First one was hella obvious that he had a crush on him. Second was cheesy, but oh my god, totally my favorite. Mainly for the frigging fact that his character was a stylist, and there was a scene where he was trying to style her (his crush) for a party the next night. And it's one of those kinda breath-taking scenes that you kinda expect. Where she's sitting down and he's crouched, looking up at her - brushing her hair from her face, tucking it behind her ear. And telling her that she's beautiful by herself or something like that. a;slkdjfalsjflkj Talk about awesome. Lovelovelove scenes like that. Honestly. Love it. The last one was the lamest, but hell, I'd get my hair cut by Mizushima Hiro. :D (Plus, he spoke ENGLISH in it. And for those who don't know, he lived in Europe for a couple of years. So he was fluent. :D)

iv. BONES. Oh my God. Saw the season premiere. T.T Charming British guy! That was just the saddest thing to me. alsdjfalskdjf
Random thoughts. Obviously spoilers. )

v. Pimping a game of all things. Azada!!! Totally awesome puzzle game for the computer. Ohmygod. I played the sequel today and wasted like 3 hours, but honestly. Amazing game. I barely even cheated (only once, and towards the end because I was running out of time XP). But honestly. I love it. The puzzles are a lot harder than one would assume. I seriously suggest this to people who genuinely like playing computer games. Puzzle games at that. It's addicting. :DDDD (And obviously not the most difficult if even I could solve it. ...Kidding. It's awesome. Plus, if you really are lazy. There are walkthroughs online. Trust me. Jayisgames is an awesome place. lol I would know. XP)

Okay. I should've been in bed. oh, two hours ago. ~_~;; Heading out tomorrow, will catch up on comments Monday. Maybe. When I'm not doing homework. ...Fuck, homework. I think I have poetry to read. o.o

P.S. So Psych out-did itself and not only do they have the "not kiss" (yes, they did not kiss). This season, they have the "not holding hands." What's next, damn it? My shipping hat can only take so much. T.T (He flipping cooked for her. *weeps*) I need fic. And stat.
