[#059] I Heart Bones.
Apr. 16th, 2009 09:41 pmi. It's good to actually be up to date on a running tv show because it means I can watch it when it's actually airing. This week was irregular for Bones, because dude, two new episodes in one week. It was kind of amazing. *___________________* Even better, they were fucking awesome episodes, if you ask me. I swear, this show just keeps me so entertained and Booth/Brennan are just the OTP of a lifetime. I really can't wait till the end of the season because if what I heard about the last two episodes are true, I'm going to be SO PLEASED. :DDDDDD And yes. Just. Lots and lots of hearts. Plus today's episode had a lot of heartwarming moments with Sweets AND GORDON-GORDON (Stephen Fry) CAME BACK. I hadn't known at all so pleasant surprise! (Also, one of the best Brennan moments ever. I loled so hard.)
ii. I tried to do schoolwork today, I totally tried. Did it work? ...Marginally. The most I managed was finishing The Temple of the Golden Pavilion which is, by far, one of the most boring books I've read. (A lot of it is due to the really, really slow beginning and way too many similes. So annoying.) The only thing that kept me going was trying to see how fucking far the main character would go. The kid was crazy. I'm sorry. I don't know if I've ever been so creeped out by a main character. His mind set, his obsession with the Golden Temple, his concept of beauty. a;sldkfjaslkj Even worse is that it was written in first person so you really get "down and dirty." Ugh. After I read it, I felt like I had to take a shower. Ughughugh. I'm kinda glad I never did finish the movie with the rest of the class. Bad only because one of the quiz questions connects to the movie and the book, but she gave us two bonus questions so I think I can manage to make up for missing that question. Also, yesterday, read the 10 chapters I needed for The Turning of the Screw. Guys. It's a horror novel. If you know me at all, I hate horror stuff. I thought that movies were bad, but reading it was a hundred times worse. I felt so creeped out. Doesn't help that I was reading it relatively late. DDDDD: Not fun whatsoever.
Now, all that's left is starting some of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. At least enough to give me something to analyze for my weekly response. Start on The Makioka Sisters. And study for my Astronomy quiz on Tuesday! I think I can manage before classes start, ne? :DDDDDD Thank God I started early. ~_~
iii. Last point, because I really don't have anything to talk about. (I feel like I had so much more earlier, but forgot it all.) It has gotten so HARD to find random scenes of pairings that I want to see. Everything's just in fanvid mode, and what if I don't want it in fanvid mode? D: Like yesterday (I think it was yesterday anyway), I had the sudden urge to watch Angel/Cordelia scenes. Could not find a single one. Today, I wanted to watch Barney/Robin scenes. Again, couldn't find a single one (okay, that's a lie. I found one at least). But still? D: Does anyone remember the good old days when there were fansites for every pairing and then they'd cut out clips of all their scenes together? Case in points: Logan/Veronica (Veronica Mars), Tony/Ziva (NCIS), Booth/Brennan (Bones). There's more out there. But god. now i'm caught up in watching random scenes from Logan/Veronica. Another OTP I loved. *distracted* ...What was my point again? ....Right. If only things were so easy for the pairings I randomly were thinking about recently. Sigh. ...Now back to Logan/Veronica.
P.S. Hope everyone has a good weekend! :D I'm actually going out tomorrow! Gasp! XD
